I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to hear my nurse say, "You are done!" I jumped up, rang the bell, and cried....I hugged my momma and friends. "We did it!" This has not been a journey that I have traveled alone. Quite the contrary.
I feel so loved and so special. My family, friends, church family, neighbors, co-workers, and even strangers have carried me through this battle. They have not left my side and I would have never made it this far without them.
So today we celebrated! We celebrated at my treatment and then I had a surprise waiting for me afterwards. Yes, I was surprised! The girl who always ruins surprises. Our neighbors, Jeff and Cheryl recently opened up a Hot Shots in Arnold and they graciously opened their doors and hosted my celebration party.
It was so nice and I was so surprised! So many people were there and they were there for me. Thank you! Thank you for loving me, supporting me, encouraging me, praying for me, and now celebrating with me.
I am really exhausted but I could not go to sleep without letting everyone know how special you are to me. I appreciate ALL you've done and when I lay my head down tonight, I will thank the Lord for each one of you and I will pray that He blesses you a million times over for what you have done for me.
Much love to you and your family! I will NEVER forget what you've done. It truly means so much to me.
Philippians 1:3-6 NIV
3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
